Tartu University would kindly like to remind you of the ongoing call for abstracts to the *Baltic Public Health Conference 2010 – Accomplishments and Challenges* taking place in Tartu, Estonia, from September 23–25, 2010. All public health and health care professionals, policy-makers, scientists and students are invited to submit abstracts for presentation by

The conference is organized jointly by Tartu University, Estonian National Institute for Health Development and Estonian Ministry of Social Affairs, and aims at giving an overview of health status in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in 2010 as well as taking a look at the current challenges faced by health care systems in these countries.
The topics covered by the conference are broad and range from public health policy development and implementation to the provision of qualified staff for health services (incl. public health training systems) and the current major health challenges in the Baltic countries.

6. Health technology assessment and health informatics in public health

The registration fee is 100 EUR (incl VAT) for early registration up to July 01, 2010. Those registering after July 01, 2010 shall pay the late registration fee of 150 EUR (incl VAT). Registration fee includes organized bus transportation, conference materials, lunch and coffee breaks, and social programme (welcome reception, excursions). For registered participants special bus transportation to Tartu will be organized from Riga, Kaunas and Tallinn early morning Thursday, September 23, and return trip Saturday, September 25 afternoon.
The conference language will be English.
